RICHMOND - Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling today announced an expansion of his television ad campaign in the Northern Virginia and Richmond markets. Bolling is the first down ticket statewide candidate to begin general election television advertising in Northern Virginia and Richmond.

The ad, titled "Lessons", highlights Bolling's background and upbringing, his work as a State Senator to provide health insurance to low income children in Virginia and his plans to improve education by increasing classroom spending by $484M by redirecting money from the central office to the classroom to raise teacher pay, reduce class sizes and improve textbooks and technology.

"Lessons" began running on last week on broadcast television in the Norfolk market. Starting on Tuesday, the ad will run on cable in Northern Virginia, Richmond and Norfolk.

Bolling also announced the release of a companion radio ad that also focuses on his background and upbringing, his legislation creating the children's health insurance program, his plans to redirect $484M from the central office to the classroom and his commitment to creating new, quality jobs in Virginia.

The radio campaign will begin on stations in Fredericksburg, the Shenandoah Valley and Southwest Virginia beginning on Tuesday.
