Bolling Reports Over $1.1 Million Cash On Hand For Re-Election Campaign
Raises over $366,000 from more than 1,650 contributors during period and ends period with over $1,117,000 cash on hand
RICHMOND - In reports filed with the State Board of Elections on Wednesday, Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling reported raising over $366,000 during the May 28-June 30 period. Bolling has more than $1,117,000 cash on hand and he has raised over $2,135,000 for his re-election campaign since its inception in March of 2008. Bolling received 1,657 contributions during the period and over 5,600 contributions to date.
"I am very pleased by the broad and generous support my re-election campaign has received from all across Virginia," said Bolling. "Not only have we raised a lot of money, but we raised that money from 1,657 individual contributors during the past 30 days. That is an amazing accomplishment, and it shows the enthusiasm and strength of our grassroots support."
"The people of Virginia know that I have a record of working with Republicans and Democrats to get things done in Richmond, and a detailed plan that will help get our economy moving again, create jobs, and restore fiscal integrity to state government," Bolling added. "I am humbled by the fact that they are willing to give their hard earned money to support my campaign, and I appreciate their friendship, confidence and support very much."
