The Truth About Jody Wagner's Attacks on Bill Bolling's Record

In recent weeks, Jody Wagner has obsessively focused her campaign solely on Lieutenant Governor Bolling's attendance at certain committee meetings.

In a transparent attempt to manipulate and distort Lieutenant Governor Bolling's record, Wagner has selectively chosen which meetings to include in her attacks.  She includes a committee Bolling does not serve on, omits several important committees that Bolling is a member and ignores his presiding over the State Senate.

Here are the facts:  As Lieutenant Governor, Bill Bolling has attended 219 of 281, or 78%, of his Boards & Commission Meetings, State Senate Sessions and meetings of the Attorney General's Regulatory & Government Reform Task Force, Working Group on Infrastructure, and National Lieutenant Governors Association. 

These are the facts and they are indisputable.  And Jody Wagner knows it.

Jody Wagner has no positive ideas or solutions to the challenges facing Virginia.  She has an indefensible record as Secretary of Finance.  She has supported every major tax increase in the last 8 years and has admitted she would work with Creigh Deeds to raise the gas tax and other taxes as Lieutenant Governor. 

Desperate, behind in the polls and lacking either a positive vision or a record to run on, we anticipate Wagner will only amplify her dishonest, negative personal attacks on Lieutenant Governor Bolling in the final two weeks of this campaign.  

As you consider the veracity of Wagner's inevitable attacks, we wanted to make sure you have the facts.
