RICHMOND - Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling today received the endorsement of the Arlington Sun-Gazette editorial page for his re-election campaign.

In their endorsement, the Sun-Gazette called Bolling "a faithful steward of the public trust" and said Jody Wagner had "made little headway" in her attacks against Bolling.

"Lieutenant Governor Bolling is pleased to receive the endorsement of the Sun-Gazette.  He appreciates their positive recognition of his dedicated public service," said Matt Wells, Campaign Manager Bolling for Lieutenant Governor. "Over the next 28 days, we will continue to take our message of creating jobs, lower taxes, cutting wasteful spending and restoring fiscal responsibility to all corners of Virginia, but especially in Northern Virginia.  As Election Day nears the momentum is clearly behind our campaign."

The Sun Gazette joins a long list of organizations endorsing Bolling, including the National Federation of Independent Business/ Virginia, Virginia Association of Realtors PAC, Virginia Farm Bureau Federation's Virginia AgPAC, Virginia Credit Union League, National Rifle Association - Political Victory Fund, Fraternal Order of Police and Police Benevolent Association.

"FOR LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR: Republican incumbent Bill Bolling has been a faithful steward of the public trust in his four years in office. Democrat Jody Wagner, the winner of the odd primary battle, has made little headway in her efforts to paint Bolling as disengaged or out of the mainstream. We endorse Bolling."
