RICHMOND - Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling today announced the launch of his second television ad of the campaign.  Bolling remains the only candidate for Lieutenant Governor airing television ads.

The ad, titled "Plan", highlights Bolling's business background and his plans to create jobs and grow the economy by providing tax incentives to businesses, keeping taxes low and cutting government waste.  Additionally, the ad discusses Bolling's role as Chief Jobs Creation Officer in a McDonnell/Bolling administration.

As Chief Jobs Creation Officer, Lieutenant Governor  Bolling's will coordinate economic development and job creation initiatives across state agencies and work with the private sector to ensure that state government is focused on our most pressing need - creating jobs.

As Lieutenant Governor, Bill Bolling wrote legislation to attract new businesses to Virginia by increasing access to incentives offered through the Governor's Economic Opportunity Fund.  This legislation has already created more than 300 new jobs and $125M in capital investment in economically disadvantaged regions of the state.

Bolling has also proposed creating an independent Government Performance Review Commission to review every agency of state government to make certain that it is necessary and performing its functions in the most cost effective manner possible.  Similar programs in Texas and Florida have resulted in the saving of millions of dollars of taxpayers' money.

Bolling also co-chaired the Attorney General's Regulatory Reform Task Force that recommended the elimination of hundreds of burdensome and redundant regulations.
